We do it because we love what we do, but it’s always nice to be recognized for our efforts. Tanja Tanner receives Arizona Burn Foundation Educator of the Year Award
Goodyear Fire Department has been recognized as a Premier EMS Agency by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System
Gilbert Aguirre, Goodyear Firefighter, receives Firefighter of the Year Award
Goodyear received the Excellence in Youth Sports award from the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS)
Goodyear’s Economic Development Team earns Medium Organization of the Year Award from Arizona Association for Economic Development.
Money magazine named Goodyear the #22 best place to live in the nation!
The city has been awarded the “Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider” designation for youth sport programs for 2019/2020
Goodyear Parks & Recreation Department received the 2019 Arizona Parks & Recreation Association (APRA) Marketing & Communications award for its innovative “Hop & Hops” digital media outreach campaign
