The City of Goodyear hosts a variety of exceptional special events for the community.  These community events are held for a variety of interests and throughout the year.  Bring the whole family and join us in building an excellent, family-friendly community!  Some activities require pre-registration, so check back often to get the most up-to-date details for the events. 

Heart and Sole 5K

Goodyear Ballpark; February 1, 2020 (7-11 a.m.; Race starts at 9 a.m.)
Kick start the year with either a 5K or 1 Mile Course at Goodyear Ballpark in February 2020.

CulturePOP Block Party

Thomas Road in front of Estrella Community College; March 28, 2020 (5:30-10 p.m.)
Join us for a celebration of the various cultures in the cities of Goodyear and Avondale. Festival immediately following the parade at Estrella Mountain Community College.

Hop & Hops Easter Event

Goodyear Ballpark; April 11, 2020 (10 a.m.-1 p.m.)

Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival

Estrella Amphitheatre; April 18, 2020 (4-9 p.m.)
Join us for the seventh annual FREE Goodyear Lakeside Music Fest held at the Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater. This is a FREE Goodyear Event, hosted by the West Valley Arts Council. Band Lineup coming soon!


Goodyear Skate Park; May 2020 Date/Time TBD
Surf some of Goodyear's finest concrete at Goodyear Community Skate Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Road during the annual, free celebration of skate culture.  Witness tricks, flips, jumps and skating demos by professional and semi-professional skateboarders.

Kids to Park Day

Help the City of Goodyear celebrate National Kids to Park Day in association with the National Park Trust.  Outdoor activities will include a water balloon toss, kite flying, and much more!

Star Spangled 4th

Goodyear Ballpark; July 4, 2020 (6-9:30 p.m.)
Celebrate Independence Day at the ballpark! The event includes live music, inflatable water slides, bounce houses, and 20-minute fireworks spectacular. This year we are also offering FREE zipline and carnival swing ride. Event starts at 6:00 pm; Fireworks at 9:05 pm. Parking and admission are free. For Sponsorship opportunities click here!

Camp Go Back

Goodyear Ballpark; October 10, 2020 (4-8 p.m.)
An all-ages summer camp throwback event featuring adventures, activities, games, and more that take you back to your nostalgic bonfire loving days! From slip and slides to s’mores to crafting, this one-day retreat will have something for everyone. Be sure to bring your (inner) child! Entry and parking are free, the experience is priceless.

Fall Festival

Goodyear Ballpark; October 24, 2020 (5-9 p.m.)

Concert Series

Come out to Goodyear Community Park to enjoy a wide variety of musical performances! Feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets, food, and beverages (no glass) while you enjoy FREE live entertainment with the whole family.

Veterans Day Tribute

Goodyear Ballpark; November 11, 2020 (2-4 p.m.)
This event will pay tribute to the tremendous sacrifices made by the men and women of the armed forces, along with their families, in serving our country. All five branches of the military are invited to participate.

Goodyear Community Park; 2020 Dates TBD
This FREE event is a one-stop shop for your dog that includes information on microchips, vaccinations, accessories and pet health care. Pet adoptions and contests will also take place, so dress up your dog and have lots of fun!

Goodyear Glows

Goodyear Ballpark; December 5, 2020 (4-8 p.m.)
Start the holiday season off with a BANG at Goodyear Glows! The event will also feature a Santa photo station, live musical performances, kid's craft stations, tons of REAL snow!, inflatables, and vendor booths. Parking and admission are free; nominal fee for some activities.
